| Day 1 Arriving to Kiev. Meeting and transfer to the hotel. Checking-in the hotel. Placement. City tour. Kiev is one of the oldest cities of the world. Legend says that at the end of the 5th and the beginning of the 6th centuries, three brothers, Kiy, Shchek and Khoriv, and their sister, Lybid, founded a town and named it after their elder brother Kiy, as "Kiev". By the end of the 9th century, when the Kiev Rus princes united scattered Slavic tribes, For more than 3 centuries Kiev was the capital of Kievan Rus, a state that was the historic ancestor of both Russia and Ukraine. Even now Kiev is called "the mother of Russian cities". which includes visit to Vladimir`s Cathedral the most prominent sacral painting complex of the late XIX c. decorated by world well-known artists. But in 1240 it was devastated by Mongols and fell into decline. In the 14th century it was taken by Lithuania, and later passed under Polish rule until it was annexed by Russia in the 17th century. Under Russian and Soviet rule it reemerged as an important commercial city. With the dissolution of the USSR in 1991, it became the capital of a newly independent Ukraine. It boasts numerous churches, a bell tower and miles of underground caves housing ancient crypts, mummified priests and ecclesiastical objects . Check-out from hotel. Transfer to the railway station or airport.

It is one of the largest museums under open air in the world that covers about 159 hectares and contains more than 300 unique buildings of folk architecture XVI - XX c. churches, houses, household constructions and workshops filled with household utensils, working instruments, clothes, works of folk art. The collection of the reserve amounts to 80,000 objects. The real atmosphere of Ukrainian village with the customs and traditions of different regions of the country and the beauty and verity of Ukrainian nature will give you a short escape from urban tension. The craftsman produced more than one hundred miniatures with tools he created. There is a rose 0,05mm thick inside a hair, the world's smallest chess piece on the edge of a pin and a flea with golden shoes: these are real wonders!
